In the famous Grand Theft Auto series, there are also real actors and stars. But, since GTA 5 was released quite recently, I decided to post the lists of actors here, as real voice characters games and main characters, and references met in the characters of GTA 5 - on celebrities, whose appearance was taken by the developers of Rockstar without permission.

And I'll start with perhaps the most recognizable characters - also the main characters of the new, fifth part of the Grand Theft Auto series.

Franklin Clinton is one of the main characters and protagonists encountered in the main story. The image and voice of Franklin - gave the American actor Shawn Fonteno known for the film "Washing".

The next no less famous GTA 5 hero on the list is Trevor Phillips. He also turned out to be a reference to a famous actor - however, another actor gave the voice acting to this character. Trevor's face was taken from Jack Nicholson- American film actor, film director, screenwriter and producer. He has also won an Oscar and is very popular in Hollywood, although he appears in films less often than before.

The next main character and another one of the three main characters of the game Grand Theft Auto 5 is Michael De Santa, also known as Michael Townley. If you designate it in a nutshell - then this is a retired robber. Just like Trevor Phillips. Michael's face and voice were given by an American actor Ned Luke.

Met in America and a reference to Jimmy De Santa - the son of Michael Townley and Amanda De Santa. The appearance of this GTA 5 character and the voice were given by an American actor Danny Tamberelli known, perhaps, from the old American TV series. So old that today they are not even played on TV.

Michael Townley's wife - also known as Amanda De Santa also borrowed her appearance and voice from the famous American actress. Vikki Van Tassel. Vicki also starred in the 2010 film Money.

But with Tracey De Santa, it turned out to be a scandalous exposure. The fact is that, according to the statements of the famous actress Lindsey Lohan- from which Rockstar arbitrarily copied the appearance for the loading screens with Tracy de Santa and for the cover, where she is arrested by the police - was illegally taken by the developers. The famous Hollywood star was so outraged that Rockstar borrowed her appearance for a computer game that she is now planning to sue the video game studio for a substantial amount in dollar terms. Such an incident does not surprise me at all - since this is not the first case of such arbitrariness of developers.

At any time (but not during the mission). When the character is not being played, the character will go about his daily business on his own. Some missions in GTA 5 require only one character, some require two, and on some walkers, three heroes go at once. During missions where the hero is not alone, sometimes it will be necessary to switch. The presence of several characters at once plays an important role in the structure of tasks, which makes the gameplay richer.

In this IGN article, Andrew Goldfab wrote: “During missions, players will be able to combine the efforts of all three characters, each with a different set of skills. For example, during one heist, Michael climbs down the side of a building while Franklin covers him with a sniper rifle from afar, and Trevor flies nearby in a helicopter. Players can switch back and forth between Michael, who "rummages" inside the building, and Franklin, who "shoots" enemies. At the end, you can switch to Trevor, pick up everyone and escape in a helicopter, or shoot all the enemy pilots as Michael. Well, or leave by car, shooting back for Michael.

Michael De Santa

Successful bank robber. “Retired” and now lives freely in the witness protection program. He has a difficult relationship with his wife Amanda, and children Tracy and Jimmy are constantly doing something beyond understanding. He used to do robbery with Trevor. Then he still bore his real name Townley. Prior to the release of the game, it was believed that this character would be named "Albert De Silva", a reference to Kevin De Silva.

Franklin Clinton

Franklin works for Semyon Etaryan, an Armenian who sells luxury cars. His job is to confiscate the cars of those customers who cannot pay for them. He hangs out with his crazy and childish friends, his best friend is called Lamar. When he meets Michael, he sees how different life can be. Then he lights up with the desire to leave the streets forever and get rich.

Trevor Philips

A crazy drug addict, a former military pilot who now lives in a trailer in the middle of the desert. He definitely doesn't have everything at home. Trevor grew up in Canada, but apparently has lived in the US most of his life, so he speaks with a slight accent. Before the release of this character, the name was "Simon".

Main characters:

Lester Crest

Another longtime accomplice of Michael and Trevor. He used to help them plan heists and is now back to that job. Can access any information. Likes video games even more than movies.

Eddie Toh

Eddie Tou is a Chinese professional criminal. Provides the gang with transportation and finds the best escape routes after robberies. Has the highest driving skills. Requires a share of 14% of production.

An old friend of Franklin and Lamar who has defected to a gang that is hostile to them. Not the most successful gangster, but that doesn't mean he's afraid of trouble.

Dave Norton

This FBI agent provided Franklin with a witness protection program and thus an easy life. Works under Stephen Haynes. After Michael returns to the business, Dave gives him some tasks to help him (Dave) keep his job. Prior to release, the character's name was believed to be Calvin North.

As already mentioned above, he is a billionaire investor, as well as the owner of the largest stake in the company Merrywise Security and its executive director. He is ready to go over the heads to achieve what he wants.

Dr. Isiah Friedlander

Helps Michael rebuild his relationship with his wife.

Fabien LaRouche

His profession speaks for itself. Owns ambiguous poses for yoga.

Ferdinand Kerimov, also known as Mr. Kay (Ferdinand Kerimov aka Mr. K)

Officially dead, but actually working for the SDGs. Later, Franklin, Trevor and Michael kidnap him on behalf of the FBI. In early previews, this character was called Brad, but this could lead to some problems in the kidnapping mission.

An old "friend" of Franklin, recently released from prison.

After the cutscene ends, follow Lamar and choose one of the two cars. Your choice will not affect the course of the mission in any way, but the red car (Rapid GT) is easier to control. Here, the game will demonstrate a small innovation: now the player can raise and lower the roof in convertibles at his discretion.

If you are playing GTA V for the first time, driving both sports cars will seem unusual. So don't chase Lamar to the limit. Moreover, the time to complete the mission is not limited, but you can’t damage the car much. At least if you want to take gold for the passage.

And Franklin's special ability will help you with this: while driving, press both analog sticks at the same time (or Caps Lock on PC by default) to activate it. Time will slow down, and the car will go faster and become better controlled. This will help you avoid collisions in critical situations, as well as catch up with Lamar if you suddenly fall far behind.

The stock of special abilities is marked with a yellow bar under the radar. You can make up for it by driving at high speed, drifting in corners and driving in the oncoming lane dangerously close to other cars.

To get gold, you need to use a special ability for at least 7 seconds. A suitable place for this is a film studio, as well as a tunnel at the end of the race with Lamar. At the film studio, try not to shoot down the actors in alien costumes, otherwise they will not give gold for passing.

Some time after leaving the film studio, you will drive along Vespucci Boulevard. Pay attention to the hints that the game gives regarding the control of the car in the air. Use them, otherwise, after landing, the car may peck its nose at the ground and receive noticeable damage. In addition, the skills to control ground transport in the air will come in handy more than once.

The tunnel mentioned above is the right place to win the race against Lamar and fulfill the last condition for getting the gold. Try to have a filled scale of special abilities on the way to the tunnel. As soon as you get close to the entrance, immediately activate the special ability and do not turn it off until the cut-scene begins. You do not need to brake at the end of the tunnel before turning, always push the gas to the floor.

Now you need to break away from the police. It won't be too difficult, since you'll only get two wanted stars out of five.

Wanted system in GTA V

Regarding GTA IV, the search system has changed markedly. So, for the first time in the history of the series, the number of stars has been reduced from six to five. Instead of a circle on the radar that outlined the last location of the player's detection, the policemen have individual fields of view and will now look for the player throughout the map.

Your task is to get away from the persecution (the radar will stop flashing red and blue) and then avoid being seen by the police for some time. You can hide in an alley, under a bridge, in the yard of a house, or in any other deserted place.

Once the wanted stars are gone, head to Simon Etarian's Premium Deluxe Motorsport dealership. The yellow route on the radar leads to it.

Get out of the car, go to the showroom and a cut-scene will start. After its completion, get into the white Buffalo S, owned by Franklin. Wait for Lamar and go to Franklin's house.

Cars of the protagonists in GTA V

Each protagonist in the game has his own car. You can not be afraid to throw it, break it, drown it, blow it up or destroy it in any other way. After some time, he will stand safe and sound at the home of his owner.

After a story insert and an introductory overview of Franklin's house, the mission will end. If you didn’t manage to get gold the first time, you don’t need to load a save - you can replay the mission through the game menu at any time when the protagonist is not doing anything. In addition, you do not need to complete all the requirements in one run to get a gold medal.

Young and ambitious, he is the best versed in different cars and strives to conquer the criminal world.

Name: Franklin Place of Birth: south of Los Santos Place of residence: south of Los Santos Nationality: African American Occupation: drug dealing (formerly), auto theft

Franklin's backstory

Franklin was born in south Los Santos, but he never had the family, money, or education he could have hoped for. In his youth, he led a life of a thug, dealt in drugs, but was soon arrested. After being released from prison, Franklin decides to give up life in the ghetto.

GTA 5 events

At some point, Franklin began to rise through life, doing street robberies, as well as working for Armenian gangsters who own a luxury car dealership and lend people money at huge interest. Once they don't get their money, Franklin steps in and plays the role of a ruthless collector, taking the debtor's wheelbarrow by force. That is why, he could often be seen driving around the city on the next sports car.

Being ambitious and enterprising enough, Franklin was tired of petty street fights and wanted to get ahead in the underworld of Los Santos. At this time, he meets Michael, which was very helpful. They do a job together and Michael sees some potential in him. So, Franklin joins Michael and his crazy friend Trevor. From this moment begins the history of GTA 5.

Franklin's story of how he got stuck between two worlds and started his journey as a gangster. However, his friends tried to restrain him and force him to return to the world of street fighting.

Dan Houser on Franklin

"Franklin was conceived as a thug in the modern world, whose glory days - if street crime ever had them - are long gone. When his illusions about such a life were shattered, what was left for him? He seemed an interesting character: a twenty-year-old guy who wants to move forward but doesn't really know 'how?' while being held back by his crazy and dangerous friends."

"The idea with Franklin was to show a man who goes beyond the boundaries of his comfort zone and normal life, and despite the fact that he is only 20 years old, his life is worthless. The world in which he believed and in which he could succeed due to modern opportunities, economics or something like that, was a mistake. He simply did not exist. And he begins to look for something new. New opportunities. At the same time, all he can do is steal and rob. And how to move forward in such a situation, who to cling to? It was a good contrast. A bandit in a post-gangster world."

Franklin as a person

According to Dan Houser, Franklin is very ambitious, perhaps even too much, and gladly gets involved in illegal adventures. Compared to Michael, this is a young man full of high hopes. For Franklin, Michael becomes a mentor in crime and in life, the father he never had.

Franklin's skills

Franklin is very smart and able to solve complex problems, which is beyond the power of Michael and Trevor, and also has good physical data. Having extensive experience in stealing cars, he is well versed in different cars, and when it comes to firearms, the victim has no chance of surviving.

It also has a unique "adrenaline rush" ability, which, when activated, can slow down time when driving a car.
